My Job = FUN

I’ve been doing a lot of things since college vacation last July. I had tried to apply to be an English teacher in LPIA Rawasari and thanks God i got accepted J. I also did volunteer things for Ramadan Outreach Program by U.S Embassy Jakarta. So i called it a busy month ever.

Being a teacher makes me learn a lot of things especially English language. Finally i do something with my other language ability. I teach people in many levels, kids, teenager even college student that senior than me. Be an English teacher is not that easy, i have to prepare all the materials before go to class, i have to make class comfortable and so much fun. So far teach elementary students are interesting. They are so talk active and have much fun mingle around them. Sometimes it’s hard to connect with the students if they are in the bad mood we have to find a way to let them go out from the boredom situation.

Another activity i did during college vacation was Ramadan Outreach program by U.S Embassy Jakarta. What i did in this program was be an assistance for U.S Embassy diplomats and did presentation about Muslim in America and AFS program. So we traveled a lot school to school or even went to Pesantren. This is one of the U.S Embassy Jakarta car.

My first presentation was with Mr. Eric Jordan, we went to SMAN 3 Cibinong. It was awesome. They were asking a lot of question and the good thing was Eric can speak Indonesian language well. We both stayed in the same state, Washington D.C so probably he learned Bahasa in Indonesian Embassy. We took a picture and this is couple of the pictures and this one too

At the end i did Ramadan Outreach program for 4 times. After Eric Jordan i did it with Aqueelah S Torrance, Corina Sanders and Ted Lyng. We had so much fun! I’m so grateful that i got this chance to work with all the diplomats from U.S Embassy Jakarta. So Thank you so much for this amazing opportunity that was given to me.

Well that was all the things i have done during college vacation and i still doing it even vacation was ended in the end of August. I enjoyed my jobs so much and Thank you Allah for this opportunity. Alhamdulillah :) .
