U.S Embassy Jakarta Youth Iftar Program

There was a program during Ramadan. Youth Iftar Program by U.S Embassy Jakarta. Me and my friends from exchange student program were the crew for this program. U.S Embassy invited elementary students and under previllage youth into this iftar program. It was held on September 1st in the U.S Ambassador Residence.

There was a puppet show by Helping Hand group also from U.S Embassy Jakarta team. It was so entertaining. Under previllage youth also gave their music performance in front of us. Another amazing opportunity i got was RCTI news interviewed me to explain the program. Maybe it’s my first time being interviewed for national news program. Can you imagine how my feeling was?

After that we gave ta’jil and let them pray Maghrib together and had dinner after it. We had so much fun with all of those people. At the end Arend Zwartjes our Ramadan Outreach program coordinator gave us a certificate to thank us as a volunteer in a lot of U.S Embassy Jakarta Program. What an amazing opportunity i got! Once again i feel so gratefull thank you God. Alhamdulillah :) .
